Almost There ~

We made a lot of progress this weekend! We got a changing table and Travis set up the stroller and car seats and pack and play.
This is the view of his room from the hall.
We still need to get a dresser for the lamp and a few things to sit on and it will go on this wall under the burp clothes that I got from my Dallas baby shower.
Here is his changing table that matches the crib.
We did a Lions and Lambs theme, so for now they are in his crib.
The pack and play is set up in our room and it also has lambs on it.

The Stroller- the infant seat and bases are in the car ready to go.

39 weeks ~

We are starting week 39 this week. I am feeling good and Jake is very active. We had friends over on Saturday night, our first and last time to entertain kid free in this house. Travis did all the cooking since my feet were all fat and ankles were swollen, he is so sweet. Here is the latest belly picture-

The house ~

Well here it is. This is the front living room. We were going to set up the furniture but it didn't fit very well. So we left this space open and set up the furniture in the study and made it the "Man Room".
This is the dining room.
This is the "Man Room" which is to the left of the front living room. It has all Trav's football stuff. We really like this room.

Here is our kitchen
, we still have to put the microwave on the counter in the corner.
This is our kitchen table we just bought. It seats 6.

This is the family room off the Kitchen.
We still have to hang the cowboy picture up over the couch.

This is the master closet- I finished it yesterday.
Master Bedroom. We still have a few things to finish in here but you get the idea.

And lastly the guest bedroom and bathroom.

We're here ~

Yay! We are all moved in! We could not have done it with out Travis's parents and our friends help either. Thank you John, Becky, Nathan, Lisa, Matt, Dave, Ken, Craig, and Mark- you are all life savers.
You would never know we just moved Saturday from the looks of the house- it is 95% completed. All we have left to do is organized our master closet, Jake's room, finish touchups in the kitchen and we are done!

Here we are outside our new home. Travis didn't carry me over the threshhold because I don't think he can carry me right now. We thought about dragging me over it but it loses something if you do that. We will carry Jake over it at least. It was also nice to have Trav's parents with us for Father's day. Let me just say that moving in the desert in over 100 degree heat at 9 and 1/2 months is not what I recommend. Everyone was so great about doing everything I needed for me so I didn't have to move but that was hard to do. Some how my feet got the biggest they have ever been. It went from swelling, to cankles, to man ankles, to tree trunks. I wish I had taken a picture of them on Saturday- they were very funny.

Everyone was so patient with me though and did anything I asked so I didn't have to get up. And when I did get up to do something I was ordered to stop and sit down. We are blessed to have such wonderful family and friends!

Second Anniversary

Today is our 2 year wedding anniversary! We have had a very low key relaxing day. Travis made a huge wonderful breakfast for us and we went out to dinner tonight. We also watched our wedding video which was fun. I thought I would post some of the pictures, it's always fun for me to go back and see them. It was the best day to both of us.
Our first kiss as husband and wife.
This is the wedding party: (back row) Lyle Mason, Brad Stansberry, Jeff Wood, Jonathan Pierce, Brian Campion, Tiger Dawson, Steven Mason. (middle) Kimberly Gravin, Amy Miller (Amy just got married yesterday- I have to get used to her new last name!) Jennifer Zidermanis, Jamie Lamb, Katie Eubanks, Karla Self.
Our family picture: (back row) Trav's sister Val Martin, brother Jeff and wife Leslie, Dad and Mom with niece Allie Wood, Us, My brother Robert, Parents, and sister Jamie. (bottom row) Trav's nieces and nephew Emma Wood, Abbey Martin, and Zach Martin, and my little brothers Daniel and Connor Lamb.

This was one of my favorite pictures at the reception.

Leaving the reception- I remember it felt so good to sit down. We had a short reception- 2 hours, and we stood the whole time visiting with every one.
It was all so much fun. But everyday with Travis has been more fun. And now, 2 years later we have so many wonderful blessings in our lives and even more wonderful things to come.

Packing Peanuts~

So I am eating breakfast this morning and I hear Phoenix playing with a plastic bag. I don't think anything of it because we have a lot of packing stuff all over the place. But I keep hearing the rustling sound and decided to see what she was doing with the bag. She just now found a bag of Styrofoam peanuts that has been out for about 3 weeks and the moron got stuck in the handle of the bag and couldn't get out. So, she tried walking around to get out and as she did she got peanuts all over the apartment. She ended up making a huge mess and I had to end up freeing her from the bag. Let me just say that picking up all the peanuts off the floor was not easy right now. :)

Officially 9 Months~

Monday we started our 9th month, 36 weeks along. It is so weird to think we are in the last month and that Jacob could arrive any day now. I doubt it will happen now or next week, but he could arrive and that is so weird. We are wanting him to stay put until we are moved, so we will see. Last night I was having a lot of false contractions which is a good time to practice my breathing. And lately when I walk anywhere, even to the car, I cramp up.
But we are so excited to see him whenever he arrives.

Another Mystery Gift ~

We received another mystery gift today. It's a birthday present for both of us from The Popcorn Factory but there was nothing indicating who it was from. ????? Whoever sent it...
Thank you very much! :)

35 weeks ~

35 weeks along and doing great!
I had a check up on Trav's birthday and they checked to see if I had any progress. I didn't, which is okay with me right now. I want to make sure we are all moved in and set up. I am going every week now so maybe there will be a little progress next week. We think Phoenix looks like a Gargoyle in this picture.
She loves it up there.

She Loves the Boxes ~

This is her new favorite place to sleep. Every time we come home she is on this box. She loves having these boxes every where to sleep on, jump on, and hide behind to jump out at us. It's really funny.

The Big Three O ~

Happy Birthday Travis!
Travis turned 30 on Thursday June 1st. Since we couldn't go anywhere cool like Vegas or California because I am past 34 weeks we were stuck here. Plus it was 107 degrees that day so we could really do anything outside either. Poor Trav! Next year we will go somewhere fun- bring in 31 with style!
He said he had a good day though- we relaxed and took it easy. He took Thursday and Friday off of work and got to pick all the restaurants for his birthday. Then on Friday we saw "The Break Up" which was really good in our opinion, despite what some of the reviews have had to say. We recommend it.
