Weekend Update

We had a low key weekend. I have a few pictures and a video to post from the week too. Jacob is very clingy to Mommy right now. I can't go anywhere with out him melting down. But here he was all smiles for the pictures below.

One of Phoenix's favorite places to lay down is between the glass and the shade. Jacob loves to pull her out by her tail too. Phoenix doesn't like that. Yesterday she was lying there and Jacob decided he would crawl in there with her. But he went about it the wrong way. Instead of entering from the end he lifted up the shade from the bottom and crawled under and then didn't know how to get out. We thought it was funny. Disneyland & San Diego

Friday we spent the day in Disneyland! It is much smaller and not as great as Disney World, but we still had a wonderful time. Daddy and Jacob walking down Main Street.

We went over to a water area and that was the highlight of Jacob's day. He L-O-V-E-D it! We let him get soaking wet and he played there for probably 45 minutes.

This was our last picture with our digital camera because my battery died. Plus I forgot to bring the charger to get pictures for the rest of the weekend in San Diego! So we had to get disposable camera and the quality is not as good. Such a bummer!

We drove down to San Diego after Disney Land to meet up with our friends Matt, Maia, and Jedyn to spend the rest of the weekend with them at their condo in Downtown San Diego. It is on the 30th floor and the boys loved to look out the window down at the city.

Saturday night we walked around the city and we stopped into a Hyatt hotel to take a bathroom/diaper change brake and the boys had fun pushing the strollers and running around the lobby. (Yes, Jacob now runs, it's very cute!)

Coronado Island

Sunday morning we drove over to Coronado Island to take the boys to the beach. This was Jacob's first time to be on a beach and see the ocean. Jacob hated the sand! We put him down to let him walk and he took a few steps then wanted to be held the rest of the way. I love the picture below, he is crying holding one foot up (because he can't lift both feet up) to get off the sand. It was really funny.

We figured he wouldn't like the water since he didn't like the sand but he LOVED the water. It was really cold too, but he thought the waves coming up to his feet were great!

I love these pictures. I only wish they were more clear- oh well. We only had Jacob in the water for these pictures, then we changed him into dry clothes because it was cold. He spent the rest of the time on the blanket with me or in Daddy's arms. He wanted nothing to do with walking in the sand.
