Easter 2011
Easter morning came bright and early, and after a long night too. But the baskets were filled and eggs were scattered to greet the kids as they came down stairs.
Eli slept in a little, no surprise after the very late night he had. So we let Jacob and Paige dig into their baskets while Eber got a few extra z's. Paige was very excited to see the big chocolate bunny.

Jacob got a light saber- perfect timing after just being introduced to Star Wars this week.
He was making the sounds....
Then Daddy pulled out a surprise- another light saber so that Jacob could have a Jedi battle.

Then Eli joined us and the big kids were so sweet with him.
Eli going straight for the ball-
Loving it but then Jacob pulled out the cookies from his basket to show him and he was locked in on those.
Sitting down and wanting to open them up and eat them.
Then it was time to find the eggs. Jacob was ready to skip the egg hunt and dive into one of the lego toys he got in his basket but Paige and Eli found them.
Clearly Eli has a while before he becomes a Jedi, but the interest is already there.

We didn't make it to church for a few reasons, but we did repair the fence that the storm hit hard the night before. Jacob was Daddy's helper.
I went closer to get a picture and Jacob wanted me to back up because fixing the fence was just for boys. Ok!
Eli is still doing good. his spot on his head is still puffy and looks sore but he was in a good mood all day.

We got stuff done and I got a nap before it was time to go celebrate Uncle Daniel's birthday. Sadly, I forgot my camera, but we were so glad we got to celebrate with him on his birthday.
