Travis and Andrea's Family

We actually got to play outside in our yard today since it was overcast and not too unbearable. We were outside for a good hour. The kids were so happy to play with there chalk and slide. Just like old times. (Jacob got chalk on his forehead in case you were wondering.)
Anyone who knows Paige well has seen this face before. She kept putting the hammer up to the faucet to get water.
The kids found this old looking sprinkler head in yard and were fascinated by it. Jacob was holding it, examining it, and try very hard to find it's function and purpose. Here it looks like he is holding it to his head while he brainstorms about it.
Still wondering.
Paige wasn't up for a picture I guess. Paparazzi moment.

Second Trimester, at last!
Thank God for the second trimester. It is always a better stage. I am 14 weeks and had my check up today. I am having lots of round ligament pains but that is normal with picking up two toddlers all the time. Plus, getting the double stroller in and out of the car. All in all, life is much easier now. Next doctor visit we have our 18 week sonogram. So far I am still very excited about not finding out the sex. It is surprisingly easy. I wonder how strong the temptation will be once I am getting the sonogram. We will see. Here is the belly pic...

Busted!
Jacob found his birthday present today. He was speechless.
I had it hidden in our storage closet because he never goes in there. Or so I thought. He was very interested in it and I had to put on Noggin in order to get him to walk away so I could hide it again. Only a few more weeks, Buddy.

18 months old
Little Miss is 18 months today. It's been a wonderful 18 months too. Paige is such a joy. She is so sweet, funny and smart...just like her mother. Haha, I couldn't resist. But no, in all seriousness, I can not imagine our lives with out this little girl.
We started off the day with her 18 month check up. She weighs 25 pounds (50-75%), is 33 inches tall (75-90%), and her head is 19 inches (90%). She passed her vision screen and is looking great. I completed her 18 month analysis all about her development for the doctor and she is doing perfect. We have no concerns about her. I was counting all her words that she says without prompting and got to 85, plus about 5 two word phrases that she says on her own too. And then she will also repeat almost anything.
It is so fun to watch her play with her dolls, she is such a good mommy. She will rock them in her arms and kiss their heads. Then she will put them down, put a blanket on them and say "night-night" then turn to me and say "shh" with her finger on her lips as she walks away. It's the cutest thing ever. In the last picture she is pretending the toy in her hand is a spoon and she is feeding Elmo some of her snack.
We plan on starting discipline with her now that she is 18 months old, and I am curious to see how that goes. I don't picture her staying in a "time out" but we shall see. She is still a good eater, sleeper, and very active. She started to try to climb one of our book shelves in our living room, which scared me. It will be bolted to the wall as soon as my dad has time.
And she is still a mama's girl. She is getting better, lasting longer away from me, but still doesn't separate great. Her favorite food is still whatever you are eating, and she is a rock star at feeding herself with a fork or spoon. Outside of our family, the two people she asks for the most are Uncle Daniel and her freind Haley. We will be out and she will randomly shout "DANIEL", requesting him. And then Haley, if I say we are going somewhere she will say "Haley" in hopes that that is who we are going to see. It's really cute. All in all, she is doing great and we are having a wonderful time with her.

Sweet Dreams
I love how sweet Jacob looks when he is sleeping. He NEEDED a nap today, and slept so hard that I had to wake him up two hours later. He was so tired.

Bye-Bye Highchair
Paige graduated to the big table this weekend. The highchair is packed away for a few months until the next baby needs it. Jacob moved over to the big table chair and Paige is now in the booster seat at the big table. And while she isn't showing it in the pictures, she really is very happy to have moved up and loves it.

5 Years ago today...
Five years...and we wouldn't change a thing! Marrying Travis is still the best thing I've ever done. I can't wait to put on my dress (it might not fit, but we will see), watch our video, and have an actual date night with my groom. Here are a few pics of our big day five years ago.

And here we are today...five years later and at the end of a long day with kids and feeling a little sick from number three. But we had a wonderful date night to a movie and look forward to what our fifth year will bring. Oh, and I was able to get my dress on and fully zipped up without being uncomfortable. It was fun to put it back on and show the kids. Jacob liked it too.

Spaghetti Face
Even though she used a fork the whole time, she still managed to get it all over herself.
Love it!!

Swimming
We love our neighborhood pool. The kids get so excited to go too.
Aunt GiGi and Andrew went with us and took almost all of these pictures.
This is what Paige does most of the time- stands on the top step and says "no" to anything you ask her.
