Jam-Packed Week-

This was a crazy week and weekend for us. Tuesday Travis headed to San Francisco and Jacob and I headed to Dallas until Friday. It was so fun to see my family. (above) Jacob with Aunt Gigi. My dad was in the hospital the whole time we were there so we had short visits with him.
Jacob with my dad's mom Liz.
Reading with Grandma. There wasn't much for him to do at the hospital.
Uncle Daniel and Uncle Connor on Daniel's 11th Birthday.
We went to visit my grandmother Mimi-
Jacob loved playing with her shoe laces.
We stayed with Karla, Dustin and Noah. Daniel and Connor were big helps with the boys.
Uncle Robert drove in to see Dad and got to see us too before heading back to school. All of my brothers are so cute with Jacob!
Friday we flew to San Antonio and met up with Travis. Trav's mom has stepping stones for all the grand babies so this weekend we made Jake's.
Putting his foot print in the cement-
Here it is drying. The letters with say his name when we take out the letter pressers.
Here are Zach and Abbey's stones-
And Emma and Allie's. Jacob's will go next to Allie's.
Jacob and Grandma playing with the train set.
Papaw and Jacob-

Emma, Abbey, and Allie-
Jacob with his Great Grandmother Wood- He makes this cute face when he blows. It's so funny.
Moving down the line to say hi to Great Grandpa Wood and Grandma.
Taking time out to see Daddy-
Walking around with Auntie Val. Jacob is walking so well! He can go really fast-holding on to someones hand that is.
Going for a ride with Abbey-
Playing with Papaw's shoe laces-
Walking around with Emma-
I love his face here!
Saturday night we drove down to Austin for our friend Ryan and Cindy's wedding. Here she is walking with her dad-
With Ryan saying their vows-
Kissing the Bride-
Dancing with her father and Ryan with his mother-
Cindy and Travis work together in Phoenix and is from Austin. The wedding was at Barton Creek Country Club.
At the reception-
And cutting the cake-

It was a beautiful wedding and Cindy looked fabulous! We are so happy for them. We drove back to San Antonio that night and flew home Sunday...what a busy week!

He found her!

Jacob loves Phoenix. I need to have my camera ready more often because there are several times she will be running everywhere ( I think just for him) and he cracks up.
Phoenix would never admit it- but we know she does like Jacob.

9 Month Check-up

Jacob went to the doctor today for his 9 month check up. I love our Pediatrician! Not only because he is a great doctor with a wonderful staff, but because he uses phrases like: "He is perfect!" Music to a mothers ears. :) They had to prick his toe and he didn't cry.
He weighed in at 20.1 (65%) and is 29 inches long (75%).
He had to get a shot, he did cry at that- but he is feeling great.
He is laughing in this picture pretty hard.

Go Spurs!

Papaw brought Jacob this cute Spurs outfit when he was here last. It fits him perfectly so I hope he doesn't grow out of it before the Finals are over. We Hope they win the Championship this year. I am a Mavs fan too- but Travis only has hopes for the Spurs.
Phoenix is so funny!
I got my haircut- it's so nice to not have it hanging in Jacob's reach!

9 Months

~Our baby boy is 9 months old today~
Time sure does fly! We are so in love with everything about Jacob. The phrases we say every day are; "He is so beautiful!", "He is getting so big!", and "He is so fun!". We laugh all the time at the little things he does.
It is so fun watching Jacob learn and explore. Who needs a TV when you have a busy baby! It's been so fun watching him do everything and we look forward to every mile stone he is yet to hit.
Every day is so fun with him. We miss him when we have to be away, even if it's a quick errand. And he is always so excited to see us.
He is so playful. He loves chasing Phoenix, running to Mommy from Daddy, rough housing, playing peek-a-boo, and being tossed around. But he also like to sit and cuddle, read stories, and be held on Mommy's hip.
We don't know how we are going to love other children as much as we love him. He is the greatest blessing so far. I sometimes get teary when I hold him because I know it is for a short while that he is my little baby. The time will fly by like it already is doing, and he will be a grown man who doesn't need us as much as he does now. Still, we are thankful God allowed us to be his parents and we are enjoying every second of it.

We love you Buddy!
