Our Future Son-in-law????

Our friends, who we met in Arizona, came in town this weekend and we got to hang out Friday night and meet their new son Jack. Jack is five days older than Paige. Naturally we love each other and would be so excited if our kids fell in love (when Paige is allowed to date at age 25) and got married. We figure they may not be up for our game plan so we are going to do a little reverse psychology and forbid them to date, that way they will feel like it was their decision and not ours.
How cute will the wedding slide show be with their pictures going all the way back to 3 months old!
Look at these darling socks- they are so cute with her little body. We covered Jack's eyes during this picture...saving it for the honeymoon.

Back to his old self

Jacob is finally back to his old self. He acts like he feels so much better. Yesterday seemed like one funny moment after another. First he climbed in the tool bench and got stuck. He couldn't get his feet out to climb out. And instead of helping when he asked, I got my camera and then helped him out.
Then Grandpa came over and had some one on one time with Paige while Jacob and I went for a quick walk. But it was too quick for Jacob because when we got back he wouldn't get out of the stroller.
I ended up sitting out in the back with Paige for about 30 minutes (although it seemed longer) while Jacob got in and out of the stroller, played with the seat belt in the stroller, and raising and lowering the tray on the stroller. So typical- when he's at home he wants in the stroller but when we are in a store he wants out.
Princess Paige-
Then later I gave him his new sun glasses and he loved them! He wouldn't take them off. When Grandma bought them for him this weekend I turned her down because he never wears them. Thankfully she got them on the off chance that he might wear them and he does now. Thanks Grandma!
They come in handy when watching really bright episodes of Blues Clues.

Getting better

We all got sick over the weekend with colds. Poor Jacob had it the worst- he got a bad ear infection and has been VERY grumpy. Paige has been all smiles in spite of her nasal congestion. I think she is so darling in her bows.

Easter Weekend

Every year Trav's parents have a huge Good Friday party and this was the first time our kids could attend. Jacob got to play in the bounce house with Daddy and his cousins before all the other big kids got there.
Giving the "more" sign. I think Meredith wanted in too-
Our babysitter from Phoenix, Melissa, now lives in San Antonio, so she and her new husband came by to see us and meet Paige.
Daddy and Paige watching so college basketball.
Paige with her Grandma and Papaw-
Jacob loves playing in their backyard with the dogs and Dad.
Easter morning-
Jacob found eggs with gold fish inside. He would open each one as he found it and eat the fish instead of finding all the eggs first.
"Baby's first Easter" outfit...I love the bow!

3 Months Old

Our baby girl turned three months today. She looks so much bigger to us too. She is so happy and smiles all the time. She is on the verge of laughing and I can't wait to hear it. She is sleeping longer at night but still has no schedule during the day. I just love these toes!
I finally remembered to bring out her Bumbo seat. Jacob likes to sit in it too.

President's Club: San Diego

Travis was awarded the President's Club again this year for his wonderful hard work for 2007. Last year we were treated to Maui (which in our minds was going to be tough to beat) and this year was held at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara in North San Diego. We had a little over a months notice so I started freezing milk for Paige and we headed out Wednesday morning and returned Sunday afternoon. We were sad to leave the kids but knew they were in good hands with my mom. So, with my trusty (but not stylish) pump in hand we headed off for 4 full days and nights of some much needed rest and relaxation!
Here we are leaving the airport- it was so sunny. It was fun to see some returning couples who like us had back to back trips. We enjoyed watching their reactions when we told them that since we saw them last we were pregnant and had a baby. Below is our view from our room.
It was the most beautiful hotel! I have never been anywhere nicer. We honestly did nothing but eat, sleep and lay around on this trip. Which was heaven with two busy babies at home. Everyone would ask us what we did that day, and (other than spa treatments) we loved answering "nothing" with big smiles. Sleeping never felt so good!
We did hang out by the pool on Thursday and check out the view! It was so nice.
This was our view- Travis's foot is at the bottom.
Everywhere you looked you saw the most beautiful and exotic flowers. It smelled so great!
I can't remember the last time I did a puzzle! There was no way I was getting into a swim suit almost 3 months after having a baby and I am so glad because the sun was stronger than we though and I didn't want to get burned.
Eating lunch out by the pool.
Saturday night was the awards ceremony where they talk about all the honored PC winners. I was so proud of Travis.
Our last night- look at how beautiful the sunset was.We were very ready to get back Sunday morning to see our babies. I of course cried when I saw them, especially Paige-She looks huge to us. Jacob had a hard time while we were gone. He missed us really bad. But he stuck close to Grandma.
Look how excited Jacob was. This is his new thing in front of a camera- he opens his mouth really wide.
We had a wonderful time and liked it better than Maui believe it or not. But, it is so great to be home!
