After Bath Game

Eli LOVES his bath time. All of it. After his bath, when he is on the changing table is a very fun time too. He will play peek-a-boo with the towel and laugh, laugh, laugh. He also likes to be tickled. Tonight I heard him laughing so hard with Daddy, that I quickly joined them with our new camera (yay!) to capture these funny moments. This video tells it all:He loves it-I love how his feet are up to kick Daddy back.All dressed and walking. He likes his new toy too. He is so smart- he can get on and off this bike all by himself. I thought that was impressive.Walking to me...

Eli's Stats

Sweet Eli was sick for his one year check up on Monday the 27th. Wheezing, red ears, not eating well...to sick for shots. She sent him home on antibiotics for the ear and has had him on breathing treatments every four hours. He did really well with them. He went in for his follow up today and the ears looked great but the throat looked very bad. Still no shots. He goes back in a week to check throat and chest. He still has a low appetite. However, through it all he was very happy. Just not sleeping well or eating well. Poor guy.
His Stats from Monday's checkup are:
Weight= 28.5 (off the chart). He was weighed four days earlier and was 30.5 so that how much his lose of appetite and not feeling well was kicking in.
Height= 32.5 (off the chart)
Head= 19.5 (off the chart)

New "Year" Pictures

It's that time of year again- new/updated pictures of the kids since Paige and Eli just had birthdays. Travis is off today so he was able to help me and it made the whole process much easier. Here are the best ones. Brace yourself for some uber cuteness.See what I mean... Jacob is so photogenic. When it's a bad picture, it is because of the glare on the glasses. They were all good of Eli- he is such a natural in front of the camera.The one of the three is always crazy- this first one says it all....But, praise God, we did get a good one.I am liking this one more and more...
It was one of my best experiences and I love the pics.

Eli's 1st Birthday

Oh my sweet E baby...You are one! Such a big boy. Happy Birthday Eber.We took down the tree last night and put up the birthday banners to celebrate your special day. This was your big gift from us that does three different things, one of them currently being a rocking big wheel. You love it. And so do your brother and sister.I hate that this picture is blurry but I had to post it so you can see how excited you were on it.You are walking better and better, but still crawling when you need to get somewhere fast. No more expensive special formula for you- welcome to whole milk! No more bottles- welcome to a sippy cup only. We go to the doctor tomorrow to get your final stats but as of 3 days ago you were quite large- 30.5 pounds. Grandma and Papaw LOVED the time with you over Christmas and commented on how much you are like Travis was. Very good news.We all love you. Jacob is especially good with you. You have a good big brother to watch over you and learn from.You take one nap (have been for months now) and it is a good nap. It can go to 3 hours most days. You LOVE the Gerber veggie puffs. You could eat them all day. Other top favorites are blueberries, yogurt, crackers, cereal bars, and meatloaf. You now point and make sounds to let us know you want something. You don't like being told no and even cry sometimes when you don't get your way. You also are getting your two front top teeth this weekend. Grandma and Grandpa love you too.You were a pro at opening gifts and liked your presents. Especially the balls from your aunts. We had a small family party for you with Grandma, Grandpa, Jamie, Andrew, Robert, Daniel, Connor, and Jessie. You were so precious and I hope to post the video of us singing to you soon.And you loved your cupcake!My new favorite picture of you...
Happy Birthday sweet sweet boy! We are so in love with you.
