Sitting with us

Jacob sat at the table with us for lunch yesterday for the first time. Every other time he has sat in his infant seat but we put him in the restaurant high chair.

It looks like he is eating BBQ with us but his meal was prunes with apples.

Separation Anxiety

Poor Jake has bad separation anxiety. Any time I walk away he cries. Here is what he did last night from me just putting him down and walking into the next room. So sad...

Happy Birthday Grandma

My mom turned 50 on Monday Feb. 19th, and for her birthday my dad flew Jacob and I out to see her for the week.

Maggie drove in from school to surprise us, it was so good to see her. She was only able to stay until Monday morning where Robert was able to stay a little longer.

Karla and Noah live across the street from my parents so we are able to see them when we are in town. Jacob loves watching Noah.

We would always start Jacob off in the middle of his toys but he didn't stay there long.

He was too busy standing up anywhere he could. PLUS, he has now started to hold onto furniture and take steps! Busy, Busy, Busy!

This is how he watched Baby Einstein, it was so cute!

This is my parents cat Max- he is super sweet. He was so good with Jacob- didn't mind him at all. Jacob would crawl over and grab him and Max wouldn't budge. He didn't seem bothered by Jacob at all.

Later I put Jacob down for a nap and Max kept watching him from outside the pack and play. I thought it was so cute so I went to get my camera and when I came back he was in it with Jacob.

So cute. He slept in there with him.

And finally seeing Daddy at the airport. He was so glad to see him, it was really cute!

Thursday night

Phoenix decided to curl up in our empty fruit basket on the table.

Jacob is eating like a pro. It is so fun to feed him.

His Favorite Game

Jacob's favorite game is to have Daddy crawl behind him, chasing him, as Jacob crawls to me. It is so cute to watch him squeal with excitement as he crawls as fast as he can to me. He will always stop to check how close behind him Daddy is and then resume his race to me.
